My Story

Although I now live a happy and healthy existence, it hasn’t always been that way.  Even as a competitive athlete following a mainstream ‘healthy diet’, I experienced what so many suffer from on a daily basis; weight fluctuation, fatigue, depression, anxiety, acne, frequent colds and flu, yo-yo dieting, disordered eating, loss of purpose, brain fog, insomnia, chronic pain, and a strong disconnection from myself.  How could this be?  I was following all of the so-called healthy eating guidelines and doing everything I was supposed to do.

Unfortunately most of us are incredibly misinformed, my former self included.

I couldn’t even begin to fully express my unending gratitude for finding this lifestyle.  Each year just gets better and better.  Long gone are the days of counting calories, restricting & deprivation, yo-yo dieting, torturous work outs, frequent colds, emotional breakdowns, etc.  I LIVE life now, I don’t obsess over it.   I want to share my knowledge with you so that you too can enjoy the freedom that comes from true health.  I want you to know what it feels like to glow, radiate, THRIVE, and SHINE from the inside out!

    hi Linda, found your blog by searching wordpress.com. Really enjoyed readign some of your posts thanks for sharing.

    I am considering studying for a career as a holistic nutritional coach and wondered if you have any reccomendations on courses or any other advice for me.

    Friends and family over the years have tried to encourage me to study life coaching as they say i do it for them anyways and they think i would offer a really ‘from the heart’ service. But until now i wasnt sure it was a career path i wanted to persue.

    I have studied a number of alternative therapies over the years , am a reiki master, a bach flowers consultant and a theta healing practitioner all of which may be helpful in this career path.

    What is really interesting me now, is the mind body soul connection between nutrition and healthy living and feeling good about oneself, hence beign able to perform, achieve and enjoy life to its fullest.

    I hope to hear your thoughts and ideas on how i can best move forward to making this idea a reality. There are so many courses out there, i kind of got overwhelmed so figured getting advice from an independant person in the industry would be very helpful for me.
